Surprisingly good. Don't let the dumb title fool you.
The whole anime is very detailed and engaging.

At least give it a 3 episode try if in doubt.

A lot of squandered potential.

The story is surprisingly not a pure power fantasy and defintely crueler than it looks, but not in any meaningful or interesting ways.

The visuals look pretty, but the actual animation is average at best, which makes the fights a lot less exciting to watch than they should be.

Still very much an okay show for genre fans. And Fran is adorable as heck, not gonna lie.

It's a cute story but follows the trend of most reincarnation themed series where the main character just start OP and then you take it from there. It never really felt he had to take any risks or face a real life threatening challenge.

Story starts out dark, ends cutely but leaves scratching your head like how was the beginning even possible. It's a slow paced unfolding story with a slightly OP main character and a little gore. I liked it but wouldn't consider it a must watch.

I needed a break from the painful-to-watch 'The Hidden Dungeon Only I Can Enter' (avoid that one, btw), so I watched this on a whim and was very glad I did.

It was much better than I expected. Especially since I try to avoid reading about an anime and only had the title to go by. It was a take on an isekai I wasn't used to.
Also, it helps when you have fun characters with good commentary. That sword is pretty funny.

The only parts that bugged me were when enemies are being killed off; I'm not sure how to explain it, but it lacked a certain "feel" of impact most of the time, like they fell apart more than were torn apart. I'm just being picky though.

I commend the story for a strong plot continuity, almost no filler, and it does stand out from many other isekais with the duality of 2 closely knit main characters without ecchi and fan service. Just like other isekais it is hard to take the stakes serious regardless of how much it is trying to push stakes with gamified numbers everywhere, which is a lot in this series, as we know something OP is gonna happen and save the day, but it does try its best to a somewhat successful degree.

In the end, I would really only recommend this to people that like standard isekais, but as far as isekais goes, it is good for those that prefer a story over fan service. Second season will be more of the same.

Hardly deserves a high recommendation, but if you like general isekai + overpowered theme, you'd probably adore this so much. More of a fantasy series + OP + CGDCT.

There are several conflict moments, but hardly any of them feel tense and you can pretty much skip any battle. Still, an overall solid package if we're focusing on the comfy factor.

Fran character design is cute, but production quality + background character design are horrid.

Name sounds generic and the isekai concept doesn't help, everything screams more of the same, but the story is so well constructed that is a shame to ignore its existence.

Even if you think that this is silly, specially the name. give the trailer a try. It will probably make you think different about this and even make you give it a try for a few episodes.

Just be aware that the quality here isn't for attempting something new, it's for the well constructed plot. It's super solid and making you want more.
