Local law enforcement and the FBI are searching for property looking for the suspected buried remains of Marie Snyder’s two underage daughters in Hepburn Township on Saturday morning. SOLEIL-GAZETTE

On November 4, 2021, 32-year-old Maria Sue Snyder was arrested by the United States Marshals Lycoming County Sheriff’s Office Fugitive Task Force on a police arrest warrant. of Lycoming Township. The warrant included charges of endangering the well-being of children and obstruction in child abuse cases.

After her arrest, Maria Snyder and other interested parties were questioned.

The Old Lycoming Police Department was assisted with further interviews and the execution of search warrants by investigators from the Old Lycoming Township Police, Lycoming County Prosecutor’s Office, Police of the State of Pennsylvania and Federal Bureau of Investigation.

A final search warrant has been obtained by the Old Lycoming Township Police Department to search property on Livermore Road in Hepburn Township. Currently, local law enforcement and FBI agents are at this location actively searching for the suspected buried remains of Marie Snyder’s two underage daughters.

An underage male child of Marie Snyder was located and an Emergency Protection Order was granted which allowed Children and Youth Services to take custody of the child. This child is doing well and no health problems have been reported.

Marie Snyder and her lover, Echo Butler, are currently in jail for the crime of endangering the well-being of children.
